Promised to advance its partnership with the Nigeria Police in area of training
The Nigeria Police has received an impressive commendation from the Government of the United States of America. This commendation came from His Excellency, Ambassador James Entwistle, the US Ambassador to Nigeria when he paid a courtesy call on the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba CFR, NPM, NPOM, mni at the Force Headquarters Abuja.
The US Ambassador posited that the visit was in recognition of the superlative performance exhibited by officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force in the just concluded 2015 general elections. He used the occasion to assure the IGP of US Government resolve to partner more with the Police in area of training.
IGP in his response thanked the visiting Ambassador and his team and assured them that this commendation will motivate officers and men of the Force in ensuring the delivery of world class security services in Nigeria.
