he Office of Accountant General of the Federation whilst working on the implementation of the Treasury Single Account policy following the directive by President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR on the Treasury policy issued earlier this month has reassured the public that the policy will boast revenue collection, block leakages, ensure transparency and timely disbursement of funds to beneficiaries.
The Accountant-General of the Federation made this disclosure during separate courtesy visits to his office by the managements of Access Bank, Zenith bank and United Bank for Africa UBA. The Access Bank, Zenith bank and UBA subsequently made separate presentations of staff buses to the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation as part of their corporate social responsibility. The management of the Banks reiterated their commitment to support the present administration of President Buhari towards revamping the economy of Nigeria.
The Banks assured that as partners and stakeholders in the Treasury activities, they would continue to support the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation in other areas such as capacity building and infrastructural development.
The buses presented to Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation were:
