Operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have rescued a nine-year old boy, Taiwo Korede, who had been chained and detained for weeks in a church premises.

The officers who invaded the Celestial Church of Chris Key of Joy Paris Ajiwo at Ajibawo in Ado odo OTA on Friday immediately took the emaciated boy to health centre where the chains were removed after gruelling hours to avoid hurting the victim.
The case has since been transfered to the appropriate authority for further investigation and prompt actions against the perpetrators of the atrocity.
