SSAEAC lauds staff, management relationship at KEDCO

power_linesThe Senior Staff Association of Electricity and Allied Companies (SSAEAC) has applauded the management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company Plc (KEDCO) for the constant efforts to enhance the staff condition of service.

President General of the union, Engr. Chris Okonkwo extoled the existing understanding and synergy between the staff and management of the firm when he visited the Kano chapter of the association company’s head office in Kano.

Engr. Okonkwo who described the union as humble and responsible association, however, noted that it would not encourage indolence on the part of the members.

According to SSAEAC boss, “We are a part of the system, we are not outsiders. As such, our actions are tilted towards building the system not to destroy it.

He also assured that the union was determined to strengthen the smooth rapport between the firm’s leadership and staff for the overall good and progress of the company.

In his remarks, KEDCO’s MD/CEO Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, who informed that the company had thrived working harmoniously with the union, called for a sustained effort by both parties for the company to realise its full potentials.

Dr. Gwamna also informed that the coy was currently being transformed to accommodate huge employments and right placement of staff in line with the requirements of the Board.
