Governor Releases 12 Prison Inmates
The Ondo State Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, in exercise of the power conferred on him by the constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as ammended) has discharged 12 prisoners out of prison custody accordingly and forthwith following the recommendation made by the Advisory council on Prerogative of mercy.

While addressing the press shortly after the release, the Controller of Prisons Ondo State command S.D Kinane esq urged the released prisoners to be of good behavior and turn a new leaf devoid of crime. The CP also appreciate Mr Governor and state advisory council on Prerogative of mercy for the show of concern for the prisoners as this will go along way in decongesting Prisons in the state.
