Buratai Convoy Intercepts Armed Robbers on Highways

In continuation of Chief of Army Staff operational visit to troops on various states.

On Saturday 5 May 2018, at about 2330hrs- 1200hrs (11:30pm – 12:00am) four local armed robbers were intercepted by the Chief of Army Staff convoy along Numan – Yola Road. The robbers blocked the Numan – Yola high way, robbing motorists and passengers of there belongings.

Items recovered include:

a. 3 Dane guns.

b. Machetes.

c. Different kinds of charms.

The suspects had since handed over to the Nigerian Police Force for further investigation and prosecution.  The general public is hereby advised to always give useful and timely information to the security agency for prompt response.
