Armed Robbers Devise Arms Concealment Tactics
Another New Tactics used by Armed Robbers and Kidnappers to hide their Rifles in the Engine Compartment of their Operational Vehicles.
On 9/7/18, IGP Intelligence Response Team IRT, On Special Operations in Kwara State Intercepted and Arrested 6 Notorious Inter-State Armed Robbers and eventually IRT Operatives Recovered Four(4) Rifles, One Pump Action Gun and Over 500 rounds of Ammunition neatly hidden inside the engine Compartment of the Armed Robber’s Operational Mazda Car. Suspects Confessed to Several Armed Robberies And Kidnappings in Kogi, Kwara, Abuja and Kaduna States for Several Years without been detected.
Suspects arrested are:
1) Nelson Yakubu 36Yrs Native of Dekina LGA of Kogi State, He is the Overall Gang Leader of this Group and was Formerly key lieutenant to the Most Notorious and Dreaded Assassin Zakari Yau Kingpin of all Criminals in Kogi State before his Arrest by IRT last Year.
2) James Obaje 34yrs Native of Dekina LGA Kogi State.
3)Yakubu Danladi 27yrs Native of  Anpka  LGA of Kogi State,
4) Ibrahim Mutari 25yrs Native of Dekina LGA of Kogi State,
5) Suleiman Ilo 35yrs native of Omala LGA of Kogi State,
6) Gboyega Olaoye Age 35yrs native of  Ekiti Kwara LGA, Kwara State were all arrested Within Kwara, Kaduna and Kogi States.
