Body of Gen Alkali Found in Abandoned Well

Following  Headquarters 3 Division declaration of 8 persons wanted in connection with  the missing of the immediate past Chief of Administration (Army), Major General Idris Alkali  with the assistance of the Nigerian Police, 6 wanted  persons have reported to the Nigerian Police, Plateau Sate Command.

During interrogation, having being confronted  with undeniable facts, one of the wanted persons who participated in the relocation of the senior officer’s corpse away from the opened shallow grave confessed and agreed to lead own troops and Nigerian Police  to  where the remains of the senior office was dumped.  Based on this credible information,  cordon and search  operation was planned to  one of the abandoned wells located at Duchwet Village, Shen District in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State  in conjunction with the Nigerian Police and Fire Service .

After evacuation of the water in the abandoned well, the remains (body) of the senior officer was found in a sack ladden with heavy stones.  Thereafter,  the remains of the senior  officer was recovered  from the  abandoned well and taken to 3 Division Medical Hospital and Services awaiting further directives from the Army Headquarters.
