Chief Judge Frees 24 inmates of Owerri Prison
It was a historic moment yesterday when the Imo State Chief Judge Justice Paschal Nnadi,on a two day jail delivery exercise released 24 inmates of Owerri prison.

Some of the inmates were released on health grounds,few were released having spent years more than they would have spent on conviction while the rest had spent over 6years without going to court. Justice Nnadi admonished those released to be of good behaviour asking them to go home and sin no more.
Earlier,the Controller of Prisons,Imo Command CP Chris Okoye had received the CJ wishing him and members of his team fruitful deliberations. In his vote of thanks,the Officer-Incharge of Owerri Prison DCP O S Olukoya expressed his gratitude to God for the exercise.
He thanked the CJ for coming and requested for the exercise to be more regular.
