Easter: Police in State of Preparedness in Anambra
The Anambra State Police Command wishes to assure all “Ndi Anambra” and residents alike that this year’s Easter period , like the previous ones would be celebrated peacefully.

The Command has prepared an elaborate operations order which effectively covers all places of worships, recreation centres ,public buildings, flashpoints,black spots and other vulnerable areas in order to ensure adequate protection of life and properties in the State. Individuals or groups desiring and planning to truncate this noble intention are warned to desist forthwith as any breach of the public peace will attract full wrath of the law.
Consequently,the Commissioner of Police CP Mustapha Dandaura while wishing all Christians a happy and peaceful Easter celebration also enjoined them to use the period and pray for sustainable peace in the State and Nation at large.
Finally, the Public is assured of our commitment to ensure Safety and Security before, during and after the Easter period,please.
