NPS Nabs Illicit Drugs Smugglers at Lagos Prison
The Nigerian Prisons Service Lagos State Command has nabbed two suspects for smuggling illicit drugs into its facility.
The suspects Ahiru Isa and Adamu Muhammed had attempted to smuggle illicit drugs, Marijuana and tramadol into Ikoyi Prison, which they concealed in a pair of slippers.

The Controller of the State Ailewon Noel said the command has zero tolerance for all illicit activities in any of its formations.
He applauded the dedication of the officers who ensured that Prison security was not compromised and for the arrest of the suspects.
Ailewon further directed that the seized drugs and the suspects be handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for further investigation and subsequent prosecution.
