BPSR Champions Critical Reforms for Economic Growth-DG
The Director-General (DG) of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Dr. Dasuki Arabi has vowed to transform the Bureau into a result-oriented agency that will champion critical reforms for economic growth and national development.
Dr. Arabi, made the pledge, at a one-week retreat on the development of a 3-year strategic plan for the Federal Government (FG’s) agency.
The DG, who disclosed that capacity-building for staff was one of his major administrative objective, stated that regular and ‘sophisticated’ training of staff through organizing workshops and seminars will help BPSR drive important government’s policies, which are also its core mandates.

He implored staff of the agency to always adhere and be willing to implement practical solutions to problems, which are offered through feedbacks or suggestions from the management team, and other development partners of BPSR.
He urged them to be responsible staff and good ambassadors of the agency.
Dr. Arabi, assured that BPSR shall embrace ICT in conducting most of its activities by leveraging on the utilization of the recently-launched ‘E-government Master Plan’.
“On my own part, I will provide the needed, charismatic, inspiring and exemplary leadership. Hence, I want each and every staff to remain dedicated, focused, hardworking and absolutely committed to his or her work. I urge all of us strive in discharging our responsibilities with sheer professionalism and in accordance to sound ethical conducts. How we perform our duties, henceforth, should be in line with best global standards,” he said.
