Sports Minister hails Nigerian Artistes, says their Story Reflects True Excellence

The  Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Sunday Dare has acknowledged the abundance of talents of the Nigerian Youths in music, engineering and other fields of human endeavour, emphasizing that these talents are truly sufficient to change our narrative.

Hon Dare gave this commendation when he  received the famous  Nigerian Artiste,  Innocent Idibia ( aka Tuface) on a courtesy visit, as part of activities commemorating his twenty years on stage.  The Minister asserted that Tuface is an accomplished Ambassador of Nigerian Music and rightly, also as a Youth Ambassador.

While expressing his appreciation for the invitation to grace the  occasion of his celebration of  achieving twenty years on stage in Abuja, Hon. Dare opined that Tuface is exemplary of abundance of talents by our Youths in Music and other fields of endeavour, which is higher and ennobling than the few negative stories about us.

While exhorting Tuface to reflect Noble and positive values in his musical lyrics for impactful messages to the youths,  the Minister averred that there is a Nexus between sports, music and entertainment generally. This connection, Hon. Dare maintained, will be fully exploited to Foster positive and enduring relationship for the benefit of our youths. To this end, the Ministry will forge a working relationship with Tuface for the forthcoming National Sports Festival, Tagged : Edo 2020, coming up in March 2020  in Edo state.

Furthermore, the Ministry, according to the Minister, will leverage on Tuface’s massive followership on Facebook for impactful youth development initiatives.

In his remarks, Mr Innocent Idibia enthused that he is celebrating his twenty years on stage in African Music; by extension  in the entertainment industry. The locations for these shows are Lagos and Abuja.
He said that courtesy demands that he should officially invite the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Dare to grace the occasion, especially as  Youths will be there in their massive number to celebrate with him thereby making it an historic and colourful event.
