Mallam Garba Yusuf, Former Kano Commissioner Loses Mother
The mother of Mallam Garba Yusuf former Commissioner of Information and Land in Kano, Hajiya Khadijat Yusuf, has died at the age of 99 this morning in kano City.
Her son, who was a Commissioner during Mallam Shekaru’s administration, confirmed the death.

Hajia Khadijat is survived by her children, Mallam Garba, Hajiya Asma’u, Hajia Aisha Yusuf, Mallama Hajara Yusuf and many grandchildren and great grand-children.
In attendance at the burial ceremony this afternoon were religious leaders, traditional rulers, top politicians, businessmen and family friends.
