Again, Police Avert Fire after Oil Trucks Accident in Anambra

On the 17/11/2019 at about 9:am, there was an accident involving two trucks along Owerri/Onitsha Expressway by Tarzan junction, Onitsha.

2. The accident  occurred when a truck with Registration number XG 624 DKA conveying diesel loss control and fell on another truck conveying goods heading towards the opposite direction thereby causing the desiel to spill on the road.

3. Police patrol  teams and other security agencies responded promptly and Scene was effectively condoned off in order to avert any calamity.

4. Consequently, traffic was diverted to a safer direction. Fire Service department and other emergency response agencies were equally on ground.while the desiel was successfully Trans-loaded  by NUPENG officials without any casualty recorded.

5.Situation was brought under control and obstructions cleared to enable free vehicular movements in the Area.

5.Meanwhile,the Commissioner of Police CP John B.Abang,fdc has ordered for a full scale investigation in order to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident,please.
