NIS Commences E-Registration of Migrants in Bayelsa

The Nigeria Immigration Service Bayelsa State Command joined the leagues of Commands that have flagged off Migrant e-registration exercise in compliance with the Federal Government of Nigeria’s approval of a six(6)months amnesty by the President Muhammadu Buhari for migrants in Nigeria during the inaugural exercise at the Headquarters Nigeria Immigration service in Abuja on the 12th July 2019.

2.The event that took place in Yenegoa was coordinated by the state Command Comptroller Felix Odika.

3.The Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service Muhammad Babandede MFR enjoin the officers and men of the Command to take advantage of the Exercise to capture the migrants residing in Bayelsa to actualize the essence of the program. He warned them against any bottleneck that may jeopardize the exercise.

4.The Migrant e-registration exercise is free the Comptroller General emphasized, while encouraging the Migrants to turnout in their numbers.
