Nigeria Ethiopian Chamber Promotes Bilateral Trades
The president of Nigeria Ethiopia Chamber of Commerce (NECOC) Alhaji Sani Umar has called for improved relationship between the two countries towards promoting bilateral trades and investments.
Alhaji Umar made the call when he led a delegation on a courtesy call to the Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Mr. Azanaw Tadesse Abreha
He said that the Chamber would ensure maximum campaigns for the promotion of bilateral trade and investment by attracting investors and participating in commercial discussions and international trade fairs and exhibitions organized by the two countries.
He further observed that by establishing strong and close relationship with the Embassy in Nigeria the Chamber would find it easier in facilitating trade and investment between the two countries.

The president later proposed for a Business Exploration Tour which will avail members of the Chamber with existing business opportunities in Ethiopia and also create platform for engagement with Ethiopian industrialists, investors and entrepreneurs.
In his response, the Ambassador was overwhelmed and pledged to render all necessary support towards the success of the mission of the Chamber.
He however solicited the support of the Chamber in sensitizing tour operators towards organizing holidays and religious tours to Ethiopia for which he promised to co-opt Ethiopian Airlines operating in Nigeria for beneficial relationship.
Other members of the board of directors of Nigeria Ethiopia Chamber of Commerce (NECOC) that attended the courtesy call included; Engr. Aminu Bala, Alhaji Aminu Dangana, Yakubu Uba, Garba Isah Dutse, Suleikan Dikko and Abdulaziz Sabitu Mohammed.
The delegation was well received by the Ambassador and his team and thereafter received the constitution of the chamber from the President.
