    Adewusi Resumes as Postmaster General

    Newly appointed Postmaster General of the Federation/CEO, NIPOST Dr. Ismail Adebayo Adewusi, has assumed duties at the organization Corporate Headquarters in Abuja.

    In the maiden meeting he held with Management and staff of the Organisation, Dr Adewusi spoke of his intention to quickly harness the low hanging fruits to create an impact in the first 100 days of assumption of duties.

    The Keio University, Tokyo, trained Economist stated that the enormous challenges, mostly of infrastructural decay and low staff morale due to poor staff welfare bedevilling the Organisation would be addressed.

    Harping on the importance of the implementation of the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy’s directives on the use of POS for all transactions across the Post Offices in Nigeria to block revenue leakages, the Postmaster General promised to find solutions to the problems associated with the use of POS in the transactions in the Post Offices.

    Staff of the Organisation in their reaction assured the Postmaster General of maximum cooperation and promised to put all hands on deck in moving NIPOST forward.
