    Ile-Arugbo: Saraki writes Gov. AbdulRazaq, seeks out of court settlement

    Following the imbroglio that greeted the demolition of Ile-Arugbo, the immediate past Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki has finally wrote the state government seeking for out of court settlement.

    Saraki made the resolve via a letter written by his lawyer, AA Ibraheem to the Attorney General of the state on Thursday, with the caption, “RE: SUIT NO: KWS/463/2019 (ASA INVESTMENT LIMITED VS GOVERNOR OF KWARA STATE AND 4 ORS”.

    The parts of the letter read thus: “We are Counsel to the Claimant in the above suit on whose behalf and instruction we write you the above.

    “Pursuant to the advice and directive of the court on the above matter that parties should explore settlement, our client has directed us to notify you of its disposition to explore settlement with the view to resolve the outstanding dispute between parties in respect of the subject matter in contention.”
