Nigerian Troops Battle Terrorists at Tarmuwa, Yobe
The Nigerian troops have successfully repelled an attack by terrorists at Babbangida town in Tarmuwa Local Government Council of Yobe State on Sunday’s evening.
The ground troops were supported by ISR aircraft from the Nigerian Air Force.

A top military officer told PRNigeria that “The ISR aircraft was despatched to the area and provided the necessary cover to the ground troops who battled and repelled the attack.
Another source who pleaded anonymity said: “The gallant troops intercepted and stopped the terrorists from approaching Gashua road towards Damaturu, the Yobe state capital after the terrorists’ failed attempt on Babbangida town where they were shooting indiscriminately.
“Gunshots were heard from the West end of Damaturu as the security forces successfully battled and defeated them.”
