CP Abang Receives Zone 9 Police Football Team
Presents Cash reward to the team for winning the trophy in the ongoing 12th Biennial Police Games in Anambra State.

The Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command CP John B.Abang,fdc has on behalf of the Assistant Inspector-general of Police in charge of Zone 9 headquarters Umuahia,AIG Baba Tijjani receives the defending Champions Zone 9 Police Football Team who defeated their counterparts from the Force headquarters, Abuja by scoring 2-1 to clinch the football trophy in a keenly contested final match at Otoucha Stadium in Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The CP who was elated thanked the team on behalf of the AIG for making the Zone proud and also presented undisclosed cash as a reward to the team.
It would be recalled that the Zone 9 Police Team equally won the trophy in 2016 biennial Police games in Abuja and has now retain the trophy as well.
The trophy was presented to the team by his Excellency the Executive Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano who also watched the final from the beginning to the end.
