President Buhari to declare Edo 2020 Festival Open

 The Ministry of Youth & Sports Dev  will be featuring the 20th National Sports Festival tagged “Edo 2020” from 22nd March _ 1st April 2020.  The magnificent event would be declared open by President Muhammadu Buhari .Distinguished dignitaries to grace the event include among others, members of the National Assembly,  State Governors, Commissioners of Sports, State Directors of Sports, President  NOC,  Sports Veterans are all lovers of sports.  Track & field event among other sports will mark the attraction of the day Including musical entertainment & match past by athletes from the 36 states and the FCT .

Edo state government has so far demonstrated passionate and commendable commitment to her hosting this festival, the government and good people of Edo state have lived up to their words. Upgraded world standard facilities are in place, sporting venues and  secured adequate accommodation are assured. Edo State government in addition to a memorable outing has assured individuals of adequate Security & mobility for easy movements to venues of the games with provision of transport mull with a dedicated lane for easy of movement for both athletes and officials.

The Ministry of Youth & Sports Dev welcomes you all as you join  the Minister, Mr Sunday Dare in the  discovery of  talents from the grass root and budding youths who may just be found, adopted and groom to achieve Podium Performance that will both win laurels and bring glory to our dear country, Nigeria.
