Police Recover Corpses of Bandits in Katsina Forest
On 19/03/2020 at about 0600hrs, based on a tip off, joint Police/Military Operation codoned and engaged suspected bandits in a gun duel at Shabba Forest, Jibia LGA of Katsina state in the process recovered nineteen (19) cows, seventeen (17) sheep and thirty four (34) goats , in the custody of the criminals leading to death of many bandits while others escaped with gun shots wounds.

On 21/03/2020 at about 06:00hrs, DPO Jibia led search parties into Shabba Forest and recovered seven additional corpses of suspected bandits that were killed during the encounter with the joint security forces.
The teams are still combing the forest with a view of arresting the bandits, recovery of more of their corpses and operational weapons. Investigation is ongoing, please
