Teens Digest Recommends 10 Banks for Teenagers’ Saving
The Teens Digest, a newly created web portal for young minds, has examined and recommended some banks in Nigeria that are safe and suitable for kids and especially teenagers in saving their cash.
In listing the banks, the Teens Digest considered accounts that can be opened in trust for children by their parents or guardians who will be the primary account holders with the responsibility of running this account until their children attain adulthood and can solely operate their own accounts or possibly move to other age-appropriate products.
Apart from listing the features of the banks, the online magazine provides weblinks to the banks’ websites.
The bank accounts include Access Bank’s Early Savers Account, Ecobank’s Junior Saver Account, FCMB’s KIDS, First Bank’s KidsFirst, GTB’s Smart Kids Save (SKS), and Heritage Bank’s Bud Savings Account.
Others include: Jaiz Kids Account, Sterling Bank’s I Can Save, UBA Kiddies Account and Zenith Children’s Account (ZECA).
The promoter of the Teens Digest, Master Suleman Yushau 12, said the portal was created to provide safe contents to educate and entertain teenagers with useful and helpful information.
Suleman said the Bank Accounts for children and teenagers have unique saving features designed to allow parents to save for their wards’ future and teach them financial discipline.
