PHOTOS: Yobe Vigilantes Kill Kidnappers, Arrest others in Damaturu
Members of a Vigilante Group in Yobe State have ambushed and killed notorious kidnappers in Damaturu.
The bodies of three of the kidnappers and three others that were arrested by the vigilantes
The suspected kidnappers were alleged to have kidnapped a a local community leader after they had collected huge ransom from their victims.

Meanwhile a situation report sighted by PRNigeria claimed that ground forces and police were involved in the operation.
The report stated that, “Kidnappers numbering about 15, armed with AK 47 rifles reportedly stormed Kasesa community, Damaturu LGA, and kidnapped a wealthy Fulani Alhaji.
“The kidnappers were reported to have collected NGN 4 million and still went away with the man.
“However, GF/NPF ambushed the kidnappers, killing 3, arrested 4 and rescued the victim.
“The arrested kidnappers currently undergoing interrogation at the Police station.”
