    Alapansanpa Felicitates Emir of Ilorin on 25th Anniversary

    The Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA), Engr Suleiman Yahaya Alapansanpa, has joined other well-meaning indigenes and friends of Ilorin Emirate to pay glowing tributes to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji(Dr)Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR,on the occasion of his silver jubilee on the throne of his illustrious forebears.

    Engr Alapanasnpa, who is also the Danmasani of Ilorin, in a statement he personally signed described the Emir as an outstanding leader and a distinguished elder statesman who has offered multifarious services towards the development of Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria before and since he took over the mantle of leadership of the Emirate.

    The former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company(EEDC) explained that the Emirate has not only witnessed tremendous positive and pervasive transformations but has also enjoyed enormous peace and tranquility which are key ingredients needed for progress and prosperity.

    The renowned power technocrat added that many indigenes of Ilorin Emirate had bagged various significant political and career appointments at the state and federal levels,which have impacted positively on the community in the last 25 years as he added that so many industrial,commercial and educational establishments have also been established within the Emirate since his reign commenced, which aided the multidimensional transformation of the community beyond imagination.

    Engr Alapanasnpa specifically thanked the Emir for always encouraging patriotism, professionalism and talents among his subjects as he said that he and his family would remain grateful to the first class Monarch for the several opportunities he has given him to serve the people of the Emirate as the Chairman of the Ilorin Emirate Durbar Committee, the Ilorin Emirate Palliative Fund and the Committee which organised the recent visit of the Emir of Kano to Ilorin in August,to mention a few.

    The Danmasini of Ilorin, therefore, urged the Emir to remain unrelenting in his strive at accelerating the all-round development of Ilorin Emirate as he also appealed to the entire people of Ilorin Emirate to continue to afford the Emir all the prayers and support needed to enable him continue his fatherly services to the Emirate as the 11th paramount ruler of Ilorin and its environs.

    The statesman wished the Emir a very fruitful celebration and many more years of services on the stool of his celebrated progenitors.
