Ilorin Anchor Mourns CP Abdulkadir Jimoh
Demuse if CP Abdulkadir Olanrewaju Jimoh (ILR/AMW/0064), is a great loss to Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
We received with rude shock the sudden death of our valuable brother, a prominent member and finest officer Alhaji Abdulkadri Olanrewaju Jimoh with the membership number ILR/AMW/0064 which sadly occurred on Friday, December 18, 2020.
Until his demise, CP Lanre Jimoh was the Commissioner of police in Cross River state who has served in various police formations across the country in Lagos, Borno states and Abuja command before his promotion to the rank of Commissioner of police and head of a state command.
We in Ilorin Anchor Men and Women Initiative (IAMWI), mourn this our companion and a gallant officer who has proved his worth, duly paid his dues as patriotic, true and real son of the soil while in different police formations by identifying with indigenes of Ilorin Emirate with moral, financial and kind assistance.
We commiserate with His Royal Highness Alh. (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, the people of Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and the entire country

Emirate Stakeholders Forum Mourns CP Lanre Jimoh

Members of the Ilorin Emirate Stakeholders Forum have also joined other sons and daughters of Ilorin in grief as Ilorin Emirate, Nigerian Police Force, and the Nation as a whole mourn the demise of Alh. Abdulkadir Lanre Jimoh, who until his death, the Commissioner of Police in Cross River State.
The group in a statement signed by its Chairman, Engr. Yusuf Olatunji Ahmed, and made available to the public by the Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Aladie, described Abdulkadir’s death as one blow too many.
“It is another moment of grief for us as a community as we mourn the sudden demise of one of us, CP Abdulkadir Lanre Jimoh.
“Lanre Olopaa as we do call him is a compatriot who lived his life in dedication to his professional calling and used his privileged positions and possessions to serve his community and humanity. No doubt, we have lost a fellow whose richness in experience and security network would be of optimum advantage to us in our quest to surmount all security challenges facing us. Lanre’s death is one blow too many.
“As much as we pained, we are comfort by the memories of his patriotic and selfless services to the community and the Nation as a whole.
“May Almighty Allah grant him eternal rest and reckoned him amongst those whom He is pleased with. May He also comfort his immediate family and Ilorin Emirate in general.
