Third-Estate Mourns Alhaja Alarape Mustapha, Mother of Legal Adviser
The Third-Estate Forum, a socio-cultural group of professionals and intellectuals from Ilorin Emirate in Kwara State has commiserated with the family of Wali of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Usman Mustapha over the death of Alhaja Alarape Mustapha who died on Thursday, December 31, 2020.
Wife of Wali of Ilorin, Alhaja Alarape was the mother of Third-Estate Legal Adviser, Bar Abdulhakeem Mustapha (SAN) and former Federal Lawmaker Moshood Mustapha.
In a condolence message, the President of Third-Estate, Mallam Ahmed Bolaji Nagode described the deceased as a woman of virtue and vision who brought up her children with a strong sense of discipline and public service.
The President said, “She was a personification of humility, decency with inspiring virtues. While I urge parents to emulate her sterling qualities, I pray to Almighty Allah to grant Mama Aljanat Firdaus and our brothers Barr A. U. Mustapha SAN , Hon M.Mustapha and all members of the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.

A former President of Third-Estate, Dr. Yusuf Lawal also praised Alhaja Alarape for her kindness, love and charity as a devout Muslim. He urged the family members to take solace in the fact that she lived a long and fulfilled life as raised many children to become successful in life.
Lawal wrote: “She was my late mother’s very good friend. Only recently her mate and my aunt, Aunty Afusa and Kazeem’s mother died. May Allah be pleased with their souls.
“Our condolences to our father, Walin Ilorin, Alhaji Shehu Usman Mustapha and all members of the Mustapha Family, particularly our brothers and members Moshood and Abdulhakeem. May Allah grant Alhaja Alarape Mustapha a beautiful place in aljanah comfort the Mustapha Family of Ile Alkali, Isale Aluko.”
In similar condolence message, Chairman, Gobir Organization Foundation, Waziri Yakubu Gobir expressed his condolence over the death of Alhaja Alarape.
In his condolence message, Gobir said: “Ilorin Emirate has again lost one of its finest in the person of Alhaja Alarape, whose contributions as a mother, teacher and role model cannot be overemphasised.”
“Late Alhaja Alarape was a woman of substance, whose simplicity and humility ranked her high among her peers. It is my prayer that Allah gives the Wali of Ilorin, Alhaji Usman Mustapha and the entire Mustapha family the fortitude to bear the loss. May Allah SWT forgive her shortcomings and reward her good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus, Amin.”
