Police Nab NSCDC Officer over Job Scam in Abuja

A senior officer of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), CSC Muhammed N. Usman has been arrested by the operatives of the Nigeria Police over job racketeering.

PRNigeria gathered that the officer who was arrested in Abuja had defrauded over 40 job seekers.

A source at the NSCDC told PRNigeria that before the arrest, Usman specialised in faking and selling NSCDC and other paramilitary agencies’ appointment letters.

Some of the agencies he forged their documents for fraudulent activities included Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) Tertiary Education Fund (TETFUND) among others.

So far, the suspect has defrauded his victims to the tune of over two million and five hundred thousand naira (N2.5M).
