Gunmen Kill Policeman in Bauchi, Wife of Police Officer in Benue
Hoodlums Attack Naborodo SHP Base, Kills Policeman and a Civilian
Bauchi state command regret to announce that on Saturday 14th of March 2021, at about 2130hrs an attack was unleashed at the Naborodo safer high way Patrol Axis of the Bauchi State Police Command, on police officers patrolling Bauchi – Jos road, by unknown armed men.
The incidence which was indeed a very unfortunate one, resulted to the death of a Police officer, Inspector Mukhtar Ibrahim, Male, 35yrs who was shot dead by the assailant and one Uba Samaila, Civilian, Male a 33yrs old resident of Naborodo town, who was hit by a stray bullet, but later died at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital (ATBH) while receiving treatment.
The Service rifle of the deceased with breach NO.32486 has been recovered by the Police and corpses of the victims have been released to the family’s according to Islamic right.
Meanwhile, more patrol teams have been deployed to the Area while security men have embarked on stop and search with a view to tracking down the hoodlums.
So far, calm has been restored in the area and citizens can go about their normal businesses without let or hindrance.
The Bauchi State Police Commissioner, CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi, fdc, regrets the ugly incidence and has condoled with the bereaved family over the irreplaceable loss.
CP Alabi has also ordered a full scale Investigation of the matter.
The Bauchi State Police Command would therefore not relent on this, it will dig deep into the matter and find a lasting solution to this security breach.

GRUESOME MURDER OF CHIEF MRS EUNICE AGANYA: CP ORDERS A FULL SCALE INVESTIGATION.
Information was received on 13th March, 2021 at about 0930hrs that Chief Mrs Eunice Aganya ; wife to Cp. Ebezimako Aganya (Rtd) who reside at Austin Iwar street, off David Mark Bye-pass, Makurdi could not be seen by her co-chiefs who had planned to pay a courtesy call on a Royal Father in Makurdi.
2. Police detectives who received this report swiftly moved to her house where she resides alone behind her bakery. Her car was seen parked in front of her gate and her fence broken into but her doors were locked . The team noticed blood stains on the window of the deceased and curiously broke into the house where they found the lifeless body laying in a pool of blood with a deep cut on the head.
3. While commiserating with Cp. E. Aganya (Rtd) and family members, Cp. Audu Madaki has ordered a full scale investigation to be carried out by detectives of the Command Criminal Investigation Department. He stated further that no stone will be left unturned to apprehend the culprits.
4. Corpse has been deposited at Bishop Murray Medical Center Morgue while one suspect has been arrested in connection with the case.
