Gov Obiano Donates Cash Gifts to Bereaved Families of Police Killed in Anambra

The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP M.B kuruyas, fsi, on behalf of the *Inspector General of Police, IGP M.A Adamu, NPM, mni, today 23rd March, 2021, presented the families and next of kin of Police Officers who paid the supreme price serving the country and Ndi Anambra* to *His Excellency, Governor Willie Obiano* at the Anambra state Governor’s lodge, Onitsha.

The security conscious Governor Willie Obiano on receiving them commiserated with the Nigeria Police, the bereaved families and subsequently presented cash gift to the dependants of the deceased Officers.

The CP in his vote of thanks, described the Governor as a humane personality and thanked him for the gesture.
He reassured the good people of Anambra State that the Police command in collaboration with other security agencies will not rest until the perpetrators of the heinous crimes are brought to book.

Also in attendance at the event were the Commanding Officer of the Naval Outpost Onitsha, Navy Capt. Adekunle Kamal Okeniyi, the State Comptroller of the Nigerian Correctional Service Anambra, Bar Emmauel Anekwe Nwakeze, HRH Igwe Chris Oranu of Omor amongst others.
