Troops of 3 Division of Nigerian Army Tasked on Professonalism
The Acting General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Bello Muhammad paid an operational visit to 93 Battalion Takum.
During the visit, the General Officer Commanding was briefed on the operational readiness of the Battalion by the Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel SA Akinyode.

During his address to the troops, the Acting GOC urged them to remain disciplined and exhibit professionalism at all times. He charged them to work in synergy with other security agencies and loyal citizens to defeat the adversaries in line with the Chief of Army Staff’ (COAS) Vision.
Brig Gen Muhammad who conveyed the appreciation of the COAS to the troops for their sacrifices, assured them of the commitment of the leadership of the army to improving their training and welfare.
The Acting GOC also visited troops at Forward Operating Basa Kashimbila and charged them to exhibit professionalism as they protect the Kashimbila Multipurpose Dam which is a critical national infrastructure. The Kashimbila Multipurpose Dam was built to generate electricity, water supply, irrigation, fisheries, tourism and flood control.
