NCoS Decorates Promoted Officers in Zones, States

NCoS Decorates 29 Promoted Officers in Zone C

No fewer than 29 Officers and Men of the Nigerian Correctional Service in Zone ‘C’ Headquarters Bauchi, have been decorated with their new ranks.

Decorating the Personnel in Zone’C’, the Zonal Co-ordinator incharge of the Zone, Assistant Controller General of Corrections (Covering Duty), Isa Sabo Kashuri, charged the newly decorated personnel to re-dedicate themselves to the service of Nigeria as they are prepare for higher challenges.

Responding on behalf of the newly promoted officers, Controller of Corrections, Ijafu Bukar, expressed appreciation to the Controller-General of Corrections for making the promotion possible and promised to justify the confidence reposed in them.

Categories of officers decorated are:
• Controller of Corrections (CC)_Two (2)
• Assistant Controller of Corrections (ACC)_One (1)
• Chief Superintendent of Corrections (CSC)_One (1)
• Superintendent of Corrections (SOC)_Three(3)
• Deputy Superintendent of Corrections (DSC)_One (1)
• Assistant Superintendent of Corrections I (ASC I)_Four (4)
• Assistant Superintendent of Corrections II (ASC II)_THREE (3)
• Others: Fourteen (14)

Highlights of the event were group photographs and felicitations.

The Nigerian Correctional Service Benue Command wishes to inform the general Public of the assumption of office of the new Controller of Corrections (CC),Mrs. Anyanwu Julie. The new Controller takes over from the out gone Controller of Corrections (CC) Mrs. Nwabia Amaka Okorie who has since been transferred to Zone ‘E’, Owerri, Imo State.
The new Controller (CC) Mrs. Anyanwu Julie is a very seasoned Correctional Officer who has served the Correctional High Command in various capacities before her current posting as the Controller in charge of Benue Command from Zone ‘E’ Headquarters, Owerri,Imo State where she was serving.

She calls for cooperation from sister security agencies and other critical stakeholders in the management of security in the State.

Meanwhile, 24 newly promoted officers and men of Correctional Service State Headquarters, Makurdi, Benue State Command were decorated at the State Headquarters Office on 23/6/2021 following the recently released promotion by the Civil Defence Corrections Immigration Fire Service Board(CDCFIB)

The outgoing Controller of Corrections Benue State Command, CC Nwabia Amaka Okorie (Mrs.) with the incoming Controller of Corrections, CC Anyanwu Julie(Mrs.) who led in decorating the officers said that promotion came from God and that anybody who was not promoted would be promoted in future. And they called for more dedication in reciprocating to their new ranks.

The occasion witness dignitaries from other security agencies,relations and well wishers of the promoted staff.

One of the promoted officers, who moved from the rank of Assistant Controller of Corrections to Deputy Controller of Corrections, DCC Idoko Juliana on behalf of other promoted staff thanked God for their promotion and pledged their loyalty to the Service.
