The Emir of Damaturu, Alhaji Dr Shehu Hashimi II Ibn Umar El-Amin Kenemi has commended the leadership of the Headquarters Sector 2 Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI for the Free Medical Outreach conducted to Damaturu residents and its environs.

He made the commendation today Tuesday 6 July 2021 during the Free Medical Outreach organised to mark the Nigerian Army Day Celebration held at the Emir’s Palace in Damaturu the Yobe State capital.

2. The Emir noted that the Nigerian Army is truly the pillar of peace and unity in Yobe State and the country at large. He declared the full support of the Emirate Council to the Headquarters Sector 2. He further added that the good people of the State will continue to provide credible information in support of ongoing Operation HADIN KAI targeted to rout-out the remnants of the Boko Haram criminals/ISWAP terrorists in the State.

4. He stated that the Sector had earlier observed the Juma’at Prayers and Interdenominational Church Service on the 2nd and 4th July 2021 respectively. He further assured all that the Sector under his command will continue to work hard to ensure peace and also identify with all security organisations in the State as formidable partners in these National and patriotic endeavours.

5. Medical services offered during the exercise include general outpatient consultation, treatment of common ailment/diseases, health education, eye check, dental check, distribution of treated mosquito nets and drugs, distribution of blankets, HIV counselling, distribution of malaria repellants and palliatives. The high point of the exercise was the presentation of a wheelchair to disabled patient by the Command Sector 2 Operation HADIN KAI.
