IBB@ 80: Gov Badaru Hail former President as a Symbol of National Unity
The Exectutive Governor of Jigawa State , Alhaji Muhammed Badaru Abubakar,MON,Mni , has described former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida as a symbol of unity and beacon nationalism who worked for unity and development of Nigeria.General Babangida who served as the nation’s military President from 1985 to 1993 turns 80 on Tuesday 17 August 2021.

In a congratulatory message signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Print Media, Ahmad Muhammad Danyaro, Governor Abubakar noted that having successfully navigated through 80 years of life as a Military Officer. Military President and Now an elder statesman, General Babangida represents an embodiment of experience, wisdom and legendary leadership.
“His impeachable records of service to God and Country will continue to serve as a reference point for countless generations” .He said.
