NCoS, DSS Colloborate on Intelligence Sharing
The Nigerian Correctional Service Bauchi State Command and the Department of State Security (DSS) have concluded plans to re-strategize towards effective intelligence gathering and sharing for enhanced security in Bauchi State.
This was reached yesterday when the newly posted State Director of Security, Sani Adamu Muhammad, paid a courtesy visit to the Controller of Corrections in his office. The State Director noted that his visit to the Controller is to introduce himself and to further seek for the NCoS collaboration in the fight against crime and criminality in Bauchi State.

The State Director of Security commiserated with the Controller of Corrections over the recent jailbreak in Oyo Custodial Center stressing that the DSS will continue to render its support to the Service towards ensuring that no similar occurrence in any of the Custodial Centers in Bauchi State.
In his response, the Controller of Corrections Bauchi State Command, CCS Kabir A. Galadanci, commended the SDS for the visit and stressed that the Custodial Centers remain as untapped sources of credible information and intelligence gathering which if well harnessed, will assist the DSS and other relevant security agencies in the country in the area of intelligence gathering and sharing.
The Controller emphasized that Correctional Officers by their training, force of personality and leadership, can gather a lot of intelligence from the Custodial Centers using the dynamic security approach.
CCS Kabir Galadanci promised to give the DSS all the necessary support in their collective quest to enhance the security situation in Bauchi State.
