The Chairman House Committee on the Army, Honourable Abdulrazak Namdas has assured the female gender in the Nigerian Army of gender inclusion in the next coming national budgetary allocations in order to enhance their capability in providing timely and actionable intelligence to further contain insecurity challenges in the country.

Honourable Namdas made this known when he led other members on an oversight visit to the Headquarters Nigerian Army Women’s Corps (NAWC) on 3rd November, 2021 at Giri Abuja.

The Commander reassured the committee that the Army has zero tolerance for misconduct of troops; therefore any act of misconduct by troops shall be dealt with decisively if investigated to be true. He pointed out that, NAWC participated in several Exercises which include Operation THUNDER STRIKE, Operation Hadin Kai, Operation Hadarin Daji, Exercise Crocodile Smile, Python Dance and many other operations in support of civil authority.
