How Military Special Forces Raided Sambisa, Uncovered ‘Torture Centres’ Used by ISWAP Terrorists
Nigerian Troops in what looked like a ‘sting operation’ have uncovered some detention facilities and prisons used by Boko Haram and the Islamic State of the West African Province, ISWAP, terrorists.
The facilities and prisons, located in the heart of Sambisa Forest, was discovered by troops of the Special Forces Brigade and Battalions in Maiduguri.

There are separate cells and torture rooms where convicted and erring insurgents fighters who committed various crimes were held hostage and tortured.
There is also a separate facility for abducted humanitarian and government workers who would later be released when huge ransom are paid.
The terrorists within Sambisa Forest and Timbuktu Triangle, who hardly engage in farming activities, due to the intensified counter insurgency campaign by military troop, used the proceed from their kidnappings to buy logistics, food, fuel, weapons, and urea fertilisers for bomb making, as well as motorcycles to aid their terror campaign.
