Birnin-Gwari Community Expresses Solidarity with Nigerian Military
Sunday 3rd April, 2022 will remain a blackest day in the history of Birnin-Gwari and indeed Kaduna State in the efforts of our gallant security forces to secure our area from terrorists.
It is indeed sad, to be a washed with ugly pictures and cruel killings of gallant soldiers in the Frontline around Polwire village in Birnin-Gwari. Although, no official statement from the military hierarchy on the sad events that occured around 5.00pm on sunday, we the people of Birnin-Gwari are in solidarity as well as in grief and sorrow with the military and families of the personnel that loss their lives.

As far back as 2014 there have been fringes of Boko Haram cells in Damari and Unguwar Nacibi axis in Birnin-Gwari. Efforts were made to intimate the office of National Security Adviser ( ONSA) through the then ,Minister of Environment Hajia Hadiza Mailafia, the situation was not fully addressed.
Boko Haram elements and their present in part of Birnin-Gwari and Giwa after they were degraded from Sambisa forest, has continued to wreck havoc on various communities as well as security forces.
Let me extend my heartfelt condolences to the Nigerian Army and all the families of those who loss their lives on the Frontline in Birnin-Gwari.
