HoS, Yemi-Esan, Donates Laptops, Offers Housing Loans to 118 LEAD-P Trainees
Head of Service of the Federation, Folasade Yemi-Esan, on Tuesday, highlighted the significance of the Leadership Enhancement and Development Programme, LEAD-P, launched by her office, for federal civil servants.
She spoke at the graduation ceremony organized for LEAD-P Batch 1 graduands, held at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Abuja.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, delivered a keynote at the ceremony, where Yemi-Esan disclosed that all the 118 graduands will be given a laptop to enhance their works, at various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, MDAs, of government.

She added that arrangements have also been concluded by the Federal Government to grant the maiden graduands of their LEAD-P training, housing loans.
According to her, the form of training offered the Batch 1 participants is highly unprecedented in the annals of capacity building in the civil service, and also career transforming and life-changing.
Yemi-Esan, who explained that the programme exposed participants to a broad spectrum of knowledge as future leaders, assured that her office will provide the enabling environment and exposure needed by the graduands to excel in their career journey.
Mustapha, in his address, emphasized the need for re-skilling and re-tooling of civil servants, with a view to enabling them contribute their quota to national development, pledging FG’s support to the sustenance of the training programme.
