Youth Coalition Commends NITDA for Boosting Nigeria’s Digital Transformation
The Youth and Civil Society Coalition for Development (YCSCD) has felicitated with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) for emerging as one the recipients of the National Productivity Merit Award.
National President of YCSCD, Comrade Aminu Aminu, in a statement, noted that NITDA has proven its worth over the last seven years, considering the massive digital transformation in Nigeria in the areas of business, education, governance.

He noted that conferring the National Productivity Merit Award to the driver of the nation’s digital economy is therefore well deserved.
According to Aminu, NITDA under its present Director General, Malam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, has provided Information Technology Centers across secondary and tertiary learning institutions in the country, preparing the younger generation for the global digital competitiveness.
He noted that the role NITDA played during the era of COVID-19 in Nigeria is still fresh in the memory of Nigerians.
