NCoS Decorates 177 Newly Promoted Officers in Adamawa

No fewer than 177 officers and men of the Nigerian Correctional Service in Adamawa State were on Wednesday,14/8/2022 decorated with their new ranks in State headquarter, Yola.

Decorating the personnel in Yola, Ahmed A. Usman, the Controller of Corrections, Adamawa State Command, said that they are gathered to celebrate, rejoice and decorate 177 deserving officers.

Usman, said that the Controller General NCoS, Haliru Nababa, mandated the Assistant Controller General in charge of Zones, Commandants of Staff College Training Institutions and State Controllers to decorate all newly promoted officers with their new ranks.

He said that the promotion to a high rank is a product of loyalty, industry and performance appraised over a period of time as well as having passed prescribed examination.

According to him, the promotion is not gotten on a platter of gold but earned, adding that everything that is happening at the moment of their lives is as a result of decisions they have taken in the past.
