Confirmation Exam Holds at 69 CBTs for 13,000 Federal Workers

The Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation on Wednesday supervised the conduct of this year’s Annual Public Service Confirmation Examination.

The Confirmation Exam, which was Computer-Based Test (CBT), held at 69 Joint Administration and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Centres, nationwide.

Speaking to newsmen after inspecting one of the exam centres in Abuja, the Permanent Secretary, Special Duties Office, Engr. Faruk Yabo, expressed satisfaction with the way the test was conducted.

He said: “The era of manual exam has passed. We are now in an era where critical knowledge and the ability to use computers are going to be the drivers in the civil service, and the wider public service at large”.

In his remarks, the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, expressed gratitude to the Head of Service of the Federation for partnering and using their JAMB facilities for the exam.
