Buhari Confirms Dauda Biu as FRSC Boss, Approves Other Appointments
President Muhammadu Buhari has officially confirmed Dauda Ali Biu as the Corps Marshall/CEO of the Federal Road Safety Corps.
In a statement by the Director of Information in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey states that the appointment of Biu who had been acting on that position with effect from December 23, 2023, for an initial term of four years.

The statement also confirms other appointments which included the renewal of the appointment of Prof. Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye as Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for a final term of five (5)years and the renewal of the appointment of Mr. Lanre Gbajabiamila as Director General of National Lottery Regulatory Commission for a final term of four (4)years.
Similarly, the president approved the renewal of the appointment of an Executive for River Basin Development Authorities. They include Engr. Bello Sani Gwarzo of Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority; Engr. Olatunji Babalola Executive Engineering of Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority; Bashir Bala Zango Executive Director Planning of Sokoto Rima Basin Development Authority; Mrs Ononuju Mary Nwabunor Executive Director Agricultural Services of Benin Owena River Basin Development Authority.
The statement added that President congratulates all the appointees and urged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear on their duties.
