The Abdulsamad Rabiu initiative for Africa, an initiative of the Chairman of Bua group of Companies, Alhaji Abdulsalam Rabiu, has offered the Nigerian Correctional Service a security sector grant of N500 million as part of her social development program.

While presenting the cheque to the Controller General of Corrections, Haliru Nababa, at the National Headquarters Abuja, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Initiative Dr. Ubong Udo said the organization is set up as a vehicle to drive the Chairman’s mission for Nigerian and Africa and to crate a platform where Nigerians and Africans can take responsibility to solve their own developmental problems by looking inwards.

This initiative has tree thematic areas which include Health, Education and Social development. NCoS through her rehabilitation and reformation programs falls under the third thematic area hence the grant.
