BPSR, Firm Sign MoU on Modernizing Public Service Reforms
The Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vessel Global Outreach, a Non-Profit Organisation to train civil servants on modernizing public service reforms, in line with best global standards.
The MoU, according to the Director-General of the Bureau, Mr. Dasuki Arabi, will improve the efficiency, quality and accessibility of public services for citizens and businesses.
Speaking during the signing ceremony in Abuja, Mr. Arabi, represented by Mr. Abba Ibrahim, Technical Assistant, BPSR, said their Bureau will work together with Vessel Outreach to implement a series of measures aimed at modernizing public services.

He noted that the agreement marks a significant milestone in the government’s efforts to reform the public service sector and make it more responsive to the needs of citizens and businesses.
“Government has recognized the importance of public services in driving economic growth and improving the quality of life for its citizens, and this MoU is a clear signal of its commitment to delivering on these goals,” he noted.
In her remark, the Chief Executive Director, Vessel Global Outreach, Dr. Chinyere Christy Moye said the training will involve adoption of new technologies, streamlining of bureaucratic processes, and development of new programs for public servants.
“We believe this MoU will help to enhance change in the way public services are delivered to make a real difference in the lives of citizens and businesses.
“We look forward to working with the government to implement these reforms and to help build a more efficient, effective and accountable public service sector.”
