2023 Polls Aftermath: FFK Dares Pastor Enenche, OBIdients over Another ‘June 12’ Plot

Spokesperson of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential Campaign Organisation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, said their campaign organisation is prepared for persons bent on usurping the mandate Nigerian electorate gave their All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, last weekend.

He gave the warning in a video clip obtained by PRNigeria, while addressing a press conference in Abuja, on the aftermath of last Saturday’s presidential election.

According to Fani-Kayode, who is popularly identified as FFK, they (the APC presidential campaign organisation) and other supporters of Tinubu, will not be intimidated by the verbal threats of Pastor Paul Enenche, Senator Dino Melaye (spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar), and the OBIdients (supporters of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party).

Recalled that Politics Digest, a sister publication of PRNigeria, in a report on Sunday, quoted Enenche, a Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Church, warning the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, against any attempt by the Commission to twist the results of the February 25 presidential and National Assembly elections.

Enenche, one of the major christian clerics promoting LP’s Obi, warned that any move to truncate the will of the people would result to unintended consequences.

But Fani-Kayode, who was flanked by the Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Festus Keyamo, and Deji Alake, another spokesperson of the Tinubu Campaign Team, said they will defend their votes, and protect the mandate the Nigerian citizens gave Tinubu.

He boasted that those with the idea of another June 12 crisis will not have their way.

“They should perish the thought. It will not happen under our watch,” said FFK.

The Tinubu presidential campaign organisation spokesperson, went on: “And we need to be very careful at this stage, we are confident of victory, we know we are going to win this election because we have done our research but we don’t make noise, we want everybody to be cool, everybody to claim as we coast that victory. But what they are doing is trying to heat up the polity, provoke use, intimidate our voters and our supporters, threaten us morning, day and night to ensure that we react, we won’t do that.

“But one thing I’ll say just to add to what everybody else has said and if you don’t remember anything I have said today please remember this, the minutes those results are announced and we by the grace of God are declared as the winner, we will defend our votes no matter what party what Pastor Pullin Ache, Dino Melaye, Dele Momodu and all the rest of them say or do especially the Obidients who have intimidated, threatened and beaten our voters in some parts particularly in the East”.
