Blackout: NCoS Denies Reckless Sexual Activities by Prison Inmates
The attention of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Yobe State Command has been drawn to a purported report by an online media outlet alleging that inmates engage in reckless sexual activities occasioned by weeks of blackout in Yobe Prisons.
The command wishes to clarify that the report is false, unpatriotic and malicious in its entirety as it is meant to truncate the existing peace and tranquility in custodial facilities in the command.

There is no sexual activity going on in any of the correctional formations across the command. Obviously, the said malicious report was intended to mislead the general public.
The Controller of Corrections Yobe state command is equally disturbed about the blackout in the centres and had already taken steps to address the situation.
Media outfits are enjoined to always verify their reports before going to the press and members of the public are also advised to disregard the report in its entirety.
