May Day: Lagos NIPR Calls for Prioritization of Employee Welfare
The Lagos Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) felicitates with all Public Relations professionals in Lagos and around Nigeria on the occasion of Workers Day 2023.
The Chairman of the Lagos Chapter of NIPR, Mrs. Comfort Obot Nwankwo, extends her warmest greetings and congratulations to all PR professionals in Lagos.
She acknowledges the hard work and dedication of PR professionals who have remained committed to promoting the values of the profession, despite the challenges in the environment.
She said: “As Public Relations professionals, we recognize the importance of the work we do in advancing the interests of our clients and the organizations we represent. Our work helps to shape public opinion, build and maintain relationships, and ultimately drive business success.

Mrs. Nwankwo urges all PR professionals to continue to uphold the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in the discharge of their duties, as the profession plays a critical role in shaping the reputation and perception of organizations and individuals.
She also calls on employers in the private and public sector to prioritize the welfare of their employees.
According to her, “As we celebrate the contributions of workers on this day, it is important to recognize the challenges faced by workers in these uncertain times and work towards creating a safe and conducive work environment for all.”
