CAN Felicitates with Tinubu, Reiterates Hope for Better Nigeria
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his inauguration.
Tinubu and Kashim Shettima were sworn in Monday as president and vice-president of Nigeria.
CAN President, Daniel Okoh, in a statement, described the inauguration as a “momentous occasion”, adding that he wished Tinubu well.
The statement said there is much work to be done to address Nigeria’s challenges, including security and economic struggles.
It expressed optimism that Tinubu will engage active citizen participation regardless of political, ethnic and religious leanings to build a better Nigeria.
“On behalf of the Christian Association of Nigeria, I would like to extend our warmest congratulations to the new President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as he assumes office today,” the statement said.
